Safety at Grasmere requires a constant personal commitment from each and every employee at each step of the way, and at every level of the company.
We put equal emphasis on team approach to safety, however ensuring that our safety professionals and all emloyees on site work together to help ensure fundamental safety procedures are continued to be adhered to.
Whether discussing safety in terms of individual accountabilty or teamwork, we are guided by 5 basic principles;
- Preventing injury, occupational illness and property damage.
- Establishing policies and procedures that will ensure all employees are actively in site safety practices.
- Outlining the safety, health duties and responsibilities of all indiviuals concerned.
- Creating and implementing a plan for ‘Health & Safety’ and ‘Industrial Training’ that promotes the identification and elimination of hazards and/or unsafe acts.
- Identifying and addressing all environmental concerns.
